Authorities and Duties

The Bureau shall have the following authorities and functions:

  • Promotes, supports, and coordinates the promotion of science and information technology in the region;
  • Coordinates the establishment of a regional science and information technology council and works diligently to ensure that the operational guidelines are implemented upon approval by the Council of Government;
